I am not alone…
There are times when life seems filled with uncertainties,
And it’s hard to know what’s going on next. You know that I am
Frustrated with the way things have been going…
But you know something else too,
I am a survivor in my own merit.
I can handle anything life sends my way.
I keep my feet planted firmly on the ground because I know,
I am not alone.
I have a person in your existence that truly cares for me.
And no matter what else changes in my life,
Nothing is going to change that.
There is something about us that make our relationship special in a way that no form of relationship could ever be.
Though you and I have been through for over a short period of time,
We have fearlessly and honestly shared our most secret secretes,
And our most far-out dreams without worrying about being judge or laughed at.
We have shared our deepest fears in our most fragile moments.
We have shared our most crying times,
And we can still act really silly and not be embarrassed.
We have never lost our childlike-innocent-trust we have always had for each other.
That’s why I write this to say I love you today, tomorrow,
And when I say I love you that means through infinity and beyond.
